The sixth pre-conference workshop was held on 26th June (onsite) at CINEC auditorium under the title “Teaching and Learning in the Age of Generative AI”, delivered by Prof. Sidath Liyanage of the University of Kelaniya. The workshop was organized by the Faculty of Computing in collaboration with the Pre-Conference Workshops and Editorial Committee of CIRS 2026. The session explored the impact of generative AI on higher education and highlighted practical strategies for its responsible and effective integration into teaching and learning. The workshop was attended by 79 participants.
