The fifth pre-conference workshop was held on 24th June (onsite) at CINEC auditorium under the title “Researching the Relationship between Culture Law and Social Change”, delivered by Dr. Anna Weerakoon Karunatilleke. The workshop was organized by Ms. Yamuna Samarakoon of the Faculty of Marine Engineering in collaboration with the Pre-Conference Workshops and Editorial Committee of CIRS 2026. The session encouraged participants to foster a culture of research integrity, ethical practice, and institutional responsibility beyond regulatory compliance. The workshop attracted 170 participants.
