CIRS 2026, with the approval of the University of Queensland, is thrilled to invite all MPhit and PhD candidates to the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. This is a unique opportunity to step into the spotlight and present the story of your research, its purpose,, impact, and relevance in just three minutes using only one static slide.
Can you inspire, captivate, and communicate your ideas clearly and creatively to an educated, general audience? The MT is more than a competition; it is a platform to showcase your innovation, sharpen your presentation and public speaking skills, and gain recognition for your research within the university and beyond. Participants will have the chance to connect with fellow researchers, faculty, and industry professionals, receive valuable feedback, and enhance their confidence in conveying complex ideas in a simple, engaging manner.
